Who is it Suitable For?

• Adults and adolescents aged 18 years and over.
• Suitable for individuals experiencing haemorrhoids (piles), pruritus ani (itchy bottom), or minor anal irritation.
• Not recommended for children under 18 years without medical advice.

 

Ingredients / Active Ingredients

Active substances:

• Hydrocortisone acetate 0.25% w/w – a mild corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, swelling, and itching.
• Zinc oxide – soothes and protects irritated skin.
• Balsam Peru – promotes healing and provides mild antiseptic action.
• Bismuth oxide – has protective and astringent effects.

Other ingredients include wool fat, hard fat, and other excipients.

 

How to Use / Dosage Instructions

Adults and adolescents aged 18+:

• Apply a small amount of ointment to the affected area morning and night and after each bowel movement.
• Use the applicator provided for internal application if required.
• Wash hands before and after use.

Duration of use:

• Use for up to 7 consecutive days.
• If symptoms persist beyond this, seek medical advice.

Most people use Anusol Plus HC without problems. However:

• Common: Mild stinging, burning, or irritation at the site of application.
